 | Greetings Miladies and Milords And Welcome to The Shire of Trysel The Shire of Trysel (trih-sell) is a local branch of the Kingdom of Trimaris, part of the international group The Society for Creative Anachronism (SCA) In the modern world, Trysel is known as Lee County, FL Whether you're an ongoing member, new to the area, or brand new to the SCA, you will find huge tracts of useful information about SCA activities in SWFL here. The SCA is an international organization dedicated to researching and re-creating the arts and skills of pre-17th-century Europe. As of December 2017, the "Known World" of the SCA consists of 19 kingdoms with over 30,000 members residing in countries around the world. Members, dressed in clothing of the Middle Ages and Renaissance, attend events which feature tournaments, royal courts, feasts, dancing, various classes & workshops, and more. |
